A Head of Stroke is involved in a number of patient-centred projects with multidisciplinary clinical teams. Each project is focused on improving access, quality of care and outcomes for people experiencing acute ischaemic stroke (AIS).

By improving the service to world standard, we believe that additional people can be free of disability after stroke.

- improve access to SCR
- reduced inequity of access to SCR
- provide patient centred, culturally appropriate care
- achieve improved health outcomes
- improve equity in outcomes for people experiencing AIS
