A Head if Stroke is involved in a number of patient care initiatives in combination with multidisciplinary team of clinicians who are passionate about attaining better outcomes for their patients and clients.
These projects look to improve the current clinical practicing style and methodology within the District Health Board system to ensure that patients presenting with a new stroke are treated by rapid response and treatment.
Phase 1: Regional Hyper acute Stoke Pathway.
By improving the service to world standard, we believe that additional people can be free of disability after stroke. Improved hyper acute pathway processes can provide these gains.
